The case is being handled through the Kansas City Police Department’s Domestic Violence Unit, which often works cases involving intimate partner violence, stalking, harassment and related safety concerns.

KCPD’s public directory lists the Domestic Violence Unit at 816-234-5235, the same number police are asking the public to use if Patterson is located or if anyone has credible information about where she may be.
Missing-person cases like this tend to move quickly in the first hours and days, which is why police are urging anyone with direct knowledge to come forward as soon as possible.
At this point, there has been no verified public update explaining where Patterson may have gone or what may have happened after she was last seen.
Because of that, the most useful information remains the basic facts already released by police: the time she was last seen, the area where she was last seen, what she was wearing, and the vehicle she was believed to be driving.
While the case is active local residents hav also raised the questions regarding Gladstone city’s safety due to such increasing cases.
Anyone who sees Ashley Patterson or has confirmed information about her whereabouts is being asked to call 911 or contact the KCPD Domestic Violence Unit at 816-234-5235.
