Kaden's mother has shared a breathtaking news regarding her son in her posts.
Kaden Case, a student-athlete connected to Wylie High School in Texas, died following a tragic car crash on Tuesday afternoon, according to family posts shared online.
In a message posted by Jill Whitfield Case, the family said there were “not sufficient words for this post” and confirmed the loss of their son.
The post described Kaden as being in “an acute mental crisis” in the days leading up to the crash and said the family had been trying to help him through a difficult period.
“As you may have already heard, Kaden died in a tragic car accident on Tuesday afternoon,” the post said. “Everyone wants to know what happened. I will not sugar coat it. Kaden was deeply depressed, angry, and confused.”

The family also said Kaden was deeply loved by relatives, teammates, classmates, teachers, and others in the community. According to the post, messages of support have poured in from across the area.
“It’s clear to me that Kaden was deeply loved by not only our family, but the baseball families and many others near and far,” the post said.
A life gone too soon
The family added that they are still receiving messages but do not have the emotional capacity to respond to everyone individually right now.
They also said they are working to organize services and will share updates as details are finalized.
A balloon release vigil was announced for Monday, May 25 at the Wylie High School baseball field, with a celebration of life planned for Friday, May 29 at 10 a.m. at Harvest City Church in Wylie.

The family said the turnout showed how many lives Kaden touched in his 16 years, writing that he “loved big, lived loud, and left an impact that can never be replaced.”
In a later message, the family thanked everyone who came out to honor Kaden at the vigil.
“Thank you to every single person who came out to honor Kaden at the balloon release vigil. It was absolutely beautiful,” the post said.
“We truly had no idea how many people would show up, and seeing that sea of balloons — #5’s, K’s, baseballs, blue balloons, and so much more — along with the hugs, tears, prayers, laughter, and love surrounding our family was overwhelming in the best possible way.”

Kaden’s loved ones said they hope family, friends, teammates, classmates, and community members continue to keep his family in their prayers, especially his little brother, in the days ahead.
Kaden’s death has sparked a wave of grief across Wylie and the North Texas baseball community, with social media filled with tributes, prayers, flowers, and messages of support for the family.
