A motorcycle rider lost his life Sunday afternoon after a single-vehicle crash near S. 59th Lane and Turner Diagonal in Kansas City, Kansas, marking another serious wreck involving a rider in the metro over the weekend.

The crash happened at around 12:18 p.m. on April 12, when officers were dispatched to the area and found an unresponsive adult male. He was pronounced at the scene.

Early details from investigators indicate the motorcycle left the roadway and struck a utility box, leading to fatal injuries before emergency crews could do anything to save him.
